How to Enter Details of a New Taxpayer?

Entering a Declaration of Details after Registering Commercial Number

After entering the commercial registration number, the Declaration of Details page is opened automatically with some fields filled in with the information from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

  1. Enter the missing information to the fields on the page. Fields with red asterisk are mandatory fields that must be filled in.
  2. To add the address, click on the Enter link on the Taxpayer's Address field.
  3. Fill in the fields on the Address page.
  4. Click on the Add If you want to enter another address for the contact address, fill in the fields for that as well.
  5. To add a new activity, license or related person, click on the Add new activity / Add new license / Add new person button.

You can add many activities but one activity must be chosen as main activity. According to the taxpayer's main activity, SGT can issue tax exemption. The activities table can include current and also previous activities.

  • Fill in the fields on the Activity page.

Click on the Add and Close button. To save this activity but add another as well, click the Add and New button.

After adding an activity, you can change it by clicking on the Edit link for this activity in the Activities list.

  • Fill in the fields on the License page.

Click the Add and Close button. In case you want to save this license but add another one as well, click on Add and New.

After adding a license, you can change it by clicking on the Edit link for this license in the Licenses list.

  1. Fill in the fields on the Related Person page.

Click on the Add and Close button. In case you want to save this person but also add another one, click Add and New.

After adding a related person, you can change them by clicking on the Edit link for this person in the Related Persons list.

  1. Click the Save button to save the declaration of modification. If you click Cancel, the draft will be discarded and all entered information will be lost.

Document is saved and a unique number is assigned to it. The document status is set to "Draft".

If you wish to change something, click on the Edit button at the bottom of the page. Note that declaration can be changed only before it is submitted.

The declaration of details can be submitted, cancelled and corrected the same way as declaration of modification (see below).

 

How to Change Taxpayer Details?

Taxpayer details can be changed by submitting a declaration of modification. The submitted declaration must be approved by Secretariat General for Taxation. Once the declaration has been approved, the change in taxpayer details takes effect.

  1. Click on the Add new modification declaration button.
  2. Fill in the fields on the Declaration of Details - Modification page – change the information you want to change and fill in any details still missing. Fields with red asterisk are mandatory fields that must be filled in.
  3. To add a new activity, license or related person, click on the Add new activity / Add new license / Add new person button.

Adding Attachments to Declaration of Modification

It is possible to add attachments to the declaration of modification. For example, in case of a new license, the scanned copy of this license can be added as attachment. Attachments can be added only before submitting the declaration for approval.

  1. If you have just saved the declaration, stay on the same page.

If you have navigated away from the page, open the Declaration of Details page and click on the View link in the end of the row of the declaration to which you want to add the attachments.

  1. Click on the Attachments tab.
  2. Click on the Add new attachment button.
  3. Enter the name of the document to the Name field.
  4. Click Browse to locate the file in your computer and select it for upload.
  5. Click on the Save and Close If you want to add another attachment as well, click Save and New.

 

To open or download an attachment, click on the document file name in the Attachments table.

To remove an attachment, click on the Remove link at the end of the row of this document and click Yes on the Confirmation popup.

 

Submitting Declaration of Modification

Once all information has been entered and saved and the necessary attachments added, the declaration of modification must be submitted for approval.

  1. Open the Declaration of Details and click on the View link for the declaration you want to submit.
  2. On the Declaration of Details – Modification page, click on the Submit button.
  3. Click the Yes button on the Confirmation pop-up.

The document is submitted. The document status is changed to "Submitted". The SGT staff can now approve this document or send it back for correction. If the change needs no approval by the SGT staff, the application is automatically finalized after submission.

 

Cancelling Declaration of Modification

In case you do not want to submit an entered declaration of modification draft and wish to stop working on it, you can cancel it. You can cancel a document if it is in the "Draft" or "Waiting Correction" status (before submitting).

  1. Open the Declaration of Details page and click on the View link for the declaration you want to cancel.
  2. On the Declaration of Details – Modification page, click on the Cancel Document button.
  3. On the Cancel Declaration of Details page, enter a comment to the Comments box (mandatory) and click the Cancel Document button.

The document is cancelled. The document status is changed to "Cancelled".

 

Correcting a Declaration of Modification

If the SGT staff has found something to be corrected about the information you have submitted, they will not approve the submitted declaration of modification but will mark it as "Waiting Correction". You can edit a declaration of modification waiting for correction and submit it again.

  1. Open the Declaration of Details page and click on the Edit link for the declaration you want to correct.
  2. On the Declaration of Details – Modification page, make the necessary corrections and click Save at the bottom of the page.
  3. Submit the declaration for approval again.
