Signing an Agreement on the Elimination of Double Taxation between The Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Bahrain

The Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain have Signed in Muscat today an Agreement on the Elimination of Double Taxation, the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with respect to Taxes on Income, and the Prevention and Avoidance of Taxes between the Governments of the two countries.
The agreement aims to provide legal protection for investors from the imposition of double taxes, and regulates tax enforcement mechanisms, which enhances investments and trade exchange between the two countries.
The agreement was signed on behalf of the Government of the Sultanate of Oman by H.E. Nasser bin Khamis Al Jashmi, Chairman of the Tax Authority, and on behalf of the Kingdom of Bahrain, H.E. Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy.
