The Aim of the Tax Authority Team's Visit to Musandam Governorate is Enhancing Tax Awareness and Government Partnership

In order to achieve the objectives of the strategic plan of the Tax Authority in developing services and facilitating procedures, it, in cooperation with the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Musandam Governorate, organized an awareness visit to the Wilayats of Dibba and Madha in Musandam Governorate. The visit came as part of an intensive program aimed at enhancing tax awareness and strengthening the relationship with the local community and government bodies.

The educational workshops that targeted Sanad offices in the two regions were an important focus of this visit, during which various tax procedures were introduced, and the vital role played by these offices in helping individuals and companies to complete their transactions efficiently and in accordance with the law was clarified. The workshops also addressed the latest developments, legal amendments, tax regulations, and reviewing the best practices in providing tax services. The importance of the role of Sanad offices as an effective link between the Tax Authority and taxpayers was emphasized. 

Besides, the head of the delegation, Ahmed bin Musabah Al Badi, Director of the Tax Authority Department in Al Batinah North Governorate, held a series of fruitful meetings with the directors of a number of government bodies in Musandam Governorate. These meetings highlight ways to enhance joint cooperation in the economic and investment fields
