The Tax Authority Organizes an Interactive Workshop for Entrepreneurs in Muscat

As part of the second phase of the "Tax Culture" initiative in Muscat Governorate, and within the framework of targeting entrepreneurs, the Tax Authority, in collaboration with the SMEs Development Authority, organized an interactive workshop on "VAT". The workshop covered various aspects of VAT, such as: calculation mechanisms and the method of submitting tax returns. It also highlighted the pivotal role of SMEs in the national economy and the incentives provided by the government to support them.

As part of this initiative, the Tax Authority opens several vital booths in the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion, SMEs Development Authority, as well as Ministry of Labor to provide direct support to entrepreneurs and answer their tax inquiries, thereby boosting their confidence in the tax system.
