The Visit of IMF Delegation to the OTA

H.E. Nasser bin Khamis Al Jashmi, Chairman of the Tax Authority, met the International Monetary Fund (IMF) delegation to discuss international developments and changes that may occur in the mechanism of imposing tax on multinational enterprises. 

In light of the technical discussions of taxes in force in the Sultanate of Oman, the meeting reviewed the progress made in international tax matters and tax treaties. In addition to discussing investment opportunities and tax incentives in special economic zones, the meeting also touched on a number of topics related to the tax field.
