The Tax Tour Enhances the Tax Awareness in Al Wusta Governorate

At the beginning of this week, the tax tour was launched from Al Wusta Governorate to enhance direct engagement with the community and raise awareness about tax systems and obligations. The tour will go through wilayats of Al Wusta Governorate, Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, and Al Sharqiyah South and North Governorates, with its final station in Al Dhahirah Governorate.

A number of specialists from the Tax Authority will carry out the initiative’s activities over the course of two weeks, aiming to provide tax awareness to various segments of society in the governorates, and to clarify the importance of voluntary compliance in submitting tax returns and paying taxes on their specified due dates.

The tax tour includes a range of awareness and educational activities, such as workshops and lectures at several government institutions and private sector entities, in addition to holding direct meetings with entrepreneurs and investors, in order to listen to their feedback and inquiries regarding the tax system.

The Tax Authority aims to promote the principle of partnership with the community, build a relationship based on transparency and trust, and encourage voluntary tax compliance through this initiative.

Since the launch of the tour, it has received positive interaction from the community, reflecting their awareness of the importance of taxes and their role in supporting the national economy and achieving sustainable development.
