Signing of the Agreement to Avoid Double Taxation

The governments of the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Estonia signed today in Muscat an agreement for the avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income.

The agreement was signed on behalf of the Government of the Sultanate of Oman by His Excellency Nasser bin Khamis Al Jashmi, Chairman of the Tax Authority, and on behalf of the Government of Estonia by Her Excellency Ingrid Amer, the accredited Ambassador of the Republic of Estonia to the Sultanate of Oman.

The agreement aims to regulate tax imposition mechanisms and provide legal protection for investors from double taxation, thereby promoting investments and trade exchange between the two countries.
