Signing an Agreement on the Elimination of Double Taxation between Oman and Austria

The governments of the Sultanate of Oman and the Federal Republic of Austria signed an agreement on the elimination of double taxation with respect to taxes on income and capital, and on the prevention of tax evasion and avoidance.

The agreement was signed on behalf of the government of the Sultanate of Oman by His Excellency Sayyid Bader bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, and on behalf of the government of the Republic of Austria by Her Excellency Mag. Beate Meinl-Reisinger, Federal Minister for European and International Affairs.

The agreement aims to regulate tax imposition mechanisms and provide legal protection for investors against double taxation, thereby enhancing investment and promoting trade exchange between the two countries.
