Signing of the Double Taxation Agreement between the Governments of the Sultanate of Oman and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg

The governments of the Sultanate of Oman and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg signed an agreement today in Luxembourg City to eliminate double taxation on income and capital taxes, and to prevent tax evasion and avoidance.
On behalf of the Omani side, the agreement was signed by His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Salem Al Harthy, the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, and on behalf of the Luxembourg side, His Excellency Minister of Finance Pierre Gramegna.
The agreement aims to regulate the mechanisms for imposing taxes, provide legal protection for investors against double taxation, and enhance investments and trade exchanges between the two countries.
