The Tax Authority continues its valuable efforts to enhance the tax awareness across the Sultanate of Oman. The activities of the third phase of the "Tax Culture" initiative have been launched today in the Governorates of Al Batinah South and North. This initiative aims to equip the society and economic sectors with the necessary tax knowledge.

As a confirmation to the Tax Authority's commitment to communicate with the individuals directly, its specialists will provide support and answer all inquiries during this week in strategic locations in the Governorates of Al Batinah North and South. These locations include Police Headquarters in Al Batinah South (Mussanah), and Al Batinah North, the General Directorate of Al Batinah South Municipality, and the branches of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the two governorates. A series of awareness workshops will also be organized at Al-Bayan College and the Omani Women's Association in Al Rustaq, which is reflecting the Tax Authority's keenness to reach the largest number of individuals in the society.

Abdulaziz bin Salim Al-Mukhaini, Tax Advisor and General Supervisor of the initiative, said: “The completion of the 'Tax Culture' initiative represents a strategic step to promote the principles of transparency and shared responsibility in the tax system at the state level. We are confident that empowering community members and institutions with the right tax knowledge will enhance the relationship of trust and constructive cooperation between taxpayers and the Tax Authority, as well as it will directly support the comprehensive national development efforts.
